Beauty Review: Some of My Favorite Things

I have been feeling the need to share.  That is to share some of my favorite beauty products of late. And, I have geared my choices more towards winter skincare (for obvious reasons) but, also,  with gift giving in mind this holiday season.  Any of the products would thrill the beauty obsessed on your list or, perhaps, you'll find something to add to your own holiday wish list!

#ExperienceTheBalance

Participating in the launch of Saranghae's new Perfect Balance Toner was a "no brainer" after having had such a great experience with their 5-step routine and new formulation of their cleanser. Incorporating the new Perfect Balance Toner into my skin care routine and the product launch was going to be during my trip to France.  So the Perfect Balance Toner came along with me for the ride.

Beauty Review: Unmasking Dry Facial Masks

Home again to dust, open mail, plant flower pots (finally it's spring) and lounge around in facial sheet masks.  After a winter in the desert, my skin is dull and dry despite every attempt to keep it hydrated. Sheet masks are having more than just a moment right now. While they might have been around for years, it took me until recently to get on-board with the idea of wearing a serum-drenched cloth over my face for 15 minutes really works.

I know, I look like Freddy Krueger's wife. No way around that one.

Beauty Review: Optimize Your Skincare Routine

I recently have been on a beauty product obsession and blame it on my style and beauty crush, Trinny Woodall (@trinnywoodall).  She V-blogs from her bathroom about all kinds of serums, beauty products and tools.  As a result, I've been trying different serums, moisturizers and masks.  Serums can address specific skin concerns and should be considered your main line defense products in a anti-aging skin routine.  Depending of the specific conditions you want to treat, by choosing specific active ingredients you can brighten, moisturize, eliminate pigmentation and reduces wrinkles.

Saranghae Reformulated Cleanser: In Love Again

I have been using Saranghae's 5 Step Anti-Aging routine since September (review here).  It's an amazing Korean Skin Care line and I love it.  In fact, I have been giving the Elemental Essence Mask as gifts to all my "besties" for holiday gifts (buy here). My skin has never looked better - really.  When they asked me to try the reformulated Nourshing & Moisturing Oil + Foam Cleanser, I couldn't imagine they could make it any better.  Along with the mask, the cleanser was one of my favorite products.  But, I was eager to give it a try.
